Executive Team

Henry A. Morton



Henry has previously (co) developed, or is developing over 13,900 student housing and conventional bedroom units in Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Arizona and Montana with a value of over $500 million. In addition, his property management company has simultaneously managed in excess of 4,500 leases. Projects developed by him have won awards such as the Portal of Excellence and, additionally, as “The Top Apartment Community” in Florida, the “Top Student Housing Community” in Murfreesboro, TN, the “Student Choice Award” in Columbia, SC, the “Best Place to Live” in Murray, KY and “The Best Place to Live” at the University of Maryland College Park. He has also consulted on a student housing development in Eilat, Israel. Additionally, he has spearheaded a project being awarded as the preferred proponent for a 2,000 bed RFP in Toronto, Ontario. Previously, he was a senior Consultant with Braxton Associates, the strategy consulting division of Deloitte & Touche, where he was in charge of a number of major projects. He has also been a senior Commercial Account Manager with a Schedule I Canadian chartered bank, and the founding President and principal of Innovative Communications Inc., a successful computer consulting firm.

Henry earned a B.A. in economics from York University and an MBA (Dean’s List) from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he majored in finance, international business and management strategy and policy. In addition, he is involved in a number of charitable and community activities and has been a speaker at the industry’s top conferences as well as featured in numerous industry publications.


Joshua Morton

Josh earned a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies Degree with an Honors specialization in Finance and Administration from Western University in 2014. He has since worked in the Insurance Industry in the operations department of a major brokerage. Josh recently joined Campus Suites as the Project Co-ordinator. He will be in charge of monitoring software programs, tracking budgets and schedules, and placing orders; as well as helping to determine the feasibility of other projects for the company.


Luminita Milea Lumi


Luminita immigrated to Canada in 1998 and since that time has worked in accounting. Before coming to Canada she worked in Romania and London, England. She holds a CPA/CGA designation and a Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting and Information Technology. After working for 9 years in the fashion industry, Luminita worked in the construction industry in two reputable firms, York Marble, Tile & Terrazzo and Bondfield Construction


Jeannie Skelley

Administrative Manager

Jeannie has worked in property management for 32 years with the Morton family and provides well-established management and accounting expertise. She currently prepares draw requests for projects under construction, prepares monthly financials for various company holdings as well as assists with on-site property accounting. Her years of experience provide the home office with stability and confidence in tackling a variety of issues such as taxes, workman’s comp, and office management.
