York University To Break Ground On New Student Residence

While the Spadina subway extension project should make commuting easier for York University students, the school is offering an alternative: live on campus.

York breaks ground this Thursday at its Keele Campus, where construction for a 812-bed residence is slated to begin. The development, dubbed The Quad, will span more than 32,000 square metres, including two six-storey buildings and vast green space.
The residence will be built on the south side of Pond Road, to the east of Sentinel Road.
